R. Bruno Matos (Trofa, 1978). Architect, (FAAUL, 2003), having completed his degree as a scholarship student under the Erasmus-Sócrates programme at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of the Universidad de Valladolid. Master in Methodologies for Intervention in Architectural Heritage (FAUP, 2012). PhD in Architecture in the field of "Architectural Heritage" (FAUP, 2023), with a thesis entitled: "Watermills and weirs of the Ave river: contribution to the safeguarding, preservation and valorisation of the molinological heritage". He is a collaborating researcher in the PACT group at the Centre for Architecture and Urbanism Studies at the University of Porto, where he has been carrying out research into molinological heritage since 2012.
