Architect and Urban Planner, he holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo (FAU-USP, 2006), having completed an academic exchange at the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto, Portugal (FAUP, 2005).

He holds a PhD in Architecture, Technology and City from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Pós-ATC/Unicamp, 2018), during which he undertook a research internship abroad (sandwich program) at the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, supported by merit-based scholarships from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP, 2012-2014; 2015-2017; 2017). He also holds a Master’s degree from the same institution and program (Pós-ATC/Unicamp, 2012), with a dissertation that received an honorable mention at the ANPARQ 2014 Award. Additionally, he specialized in Theory and Practice of Architectural and Urban Heritage Preservation and Restoration at the Universidade Católica de Santos (Unisantos, 2008).

He served as an Assistant Professor in the Architecture and Urbanism Program at Universidade do Grande ABC (UniABC, 2012–2013) and as an Adjunct Professor, level 1, in the field of Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism (Theme: Theory and Practice of Intervention in Cultural Heritage) in the undergraduate Architecture and Urbanism course at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) from 2018 to 2024, where he also collaborated with the Graduate Program in Archaeology (PROARQ) from 2018 to 2022.

Since 2022, he has been a member and collaborator of the UNESCO Chair “Heritage, Cities and Landscapes. Sustainable Management, Conservation, Planning and Design,” based at FAUP. From 2022 to 2024, he carried out postdoctoral research as a visiting scholar at the Centro de Estudos de Arquitectura e Urbanismo (CEAU), within the research group Património da Arquitectura, da Cidade e do Território (PACT), with a research fellowship granted by Fundação BPI/La Caixa. Since 2024, he has been a contracted Auxiliary Researcher within the framework of the 6th Concurso de Estímulo ao Emprego Científico (CEEC), funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) for academic merit.

He is a specialist member of ICOMOS International – Scientific Committee on Education and Training (ICOMOS/CIF) and a member of ICOMOS CIPA Emerging Professionals (ICOMOS/CIPA-EP). He represented UFS in the PHI Brazil Network from 2018 to 2024 and was a member of ICOMOS Brazil from 2020 to 2023. Since 2024, he has been a member of ICOMOS Portugal. He has also been associated with ANPARQ since 2014, having served as the state representative in the Fórum de Entidades em Defesa do Patrimônio Cultural Brasileiro / Sergipe, which he coordinated from 2020 to 2022.
